Equal employment opportunities reporting and practices: Developments in New Zealand.

Abstract

Equal employment opportunities (EEO) reporting occurs currently in New Zealand. It is found generally in central and local government organisations and other publicly funded entities. It is voluntary for private sector organisations. EEO reporting often occurs within annual reports of organisations. Such reporting is an important way for employers to describe the EEO practices in their organisations. The aim of this paper is to report on the extent of such reporting and the occurrence of EEO practices.
