The Open Polytechnic eBook: Some reflections.

Abstract

In 2011, the Open Polytechnic published an eBook that showcased staff’s reflections on ODL practice at the polytechnic. More than 30 authors contributed chapters or case studies to the eBook, and many other members of staff were involved in reviewing, editing and production. This presentation celebrates and reflects on this outstanding cooperative achievement. First, the publication process is outlined and, then, an overview is given of the main contributions. Consideration is also given to what worked well and what did not.
