Reaching out and sharing the journey: Children's centres in the UK.

Abstract

Discusses the journey of consultation and collaboration with children and families and other professional organisations through the lens of a Surestart Children�s Centre. Shares the journey of the initial set up of a new Surestart Project in the UK in 2001 through to Children�s Centre accreditation in 2005, with a strong focus on disseminating the challenges and celebrations of partnership work, with diverse communities and families.
